Is process followed by business analyst still valid?

 Everything starts with ideation, but to bring the idea to life needs further analysis and research to cross-check and double-check the idea worth implementation or further storming need to be done with/by including external experts and involving real users who are suffering from the issue. After gathering and analyzing the issue through rigorous followups and continuous and often feedback. That should not stop there. Here business analyst will come and analyze the data by doing few techniques like Interviewing, document analysis, conducting focus group interviews and brainstorming sessions with the cross-functional and SMEs in that field.
